Over the last number of years, I cannot recount how many of my clients/and others that I have met, do not have a true sense of what their brand is and what makes them special in the marketplace.
Too many companies simply react to their competition’s marketing strategy and buy into the “me too” game. As far as I am concerned, as soon as you do that, you have lost your true identity and your ability to have people listen to your brand story and react positively to it.

WE NEED TO BE TRUE TO OUR OWN BRAND AND TELL OUR OWN STORY!
It is all about having people understand your value and building a reputation that speaks to that value. Unfortunately, this is not an easy thing to do and it certainly does not come quickly. Building reputation, over time, little by little, and telling your story, over and over, to increasingly larger audiences takes time, strategy and effort, but it is well worth it in the end!
If you try to go too big, too fast, no one will pay attention to the value statement you are trying to communicate, as they have no idea why they should. However, if you take the time to strategically build your brand and tell your story, the credibility that you create will allow you to eventually scale.
