Stroll for Liver
June 15th, 2014 (Sunday) from 9:00 am – noon
Garry Point Park, Richmond
Dear friends, family, colleagues and clients,
As an incoming Board Member of the Canadian Liver Foundation, I am asking you to please join me in supporting the Foundation’s 2nd Annual “Stroll for Liver”, a family walk to raise funds for liver cancer research and liver health education programs in our community.
Our liver plays a critical role in maintaining the overall health. Getting involved in physical activities, such as walking, is a great way to keep this vital organ healthy. By taking a Stroll, we can take control of our liver health and, it may actually help reduce our risk of developing not only liver disease but also other health conditions including diabetes and heart disease.
Participation in a Stroll for Liver is FUN and EASY! Just register online at strollforliver.ca (There are also other walks happening across Canada and you can participate by clicking here). If you cannot join me on that day, please sponsor me by donating online, or simply completing the pledge form attached.
One in ten (3.4 million) Canadians are living with some form of liver diseases. Together we are making a difference in these people’s lives through the support of research and education. I thank you very much for your contribution!
Yours sincerely,
Ben Baker
