Too many companies, both B2B or B2C feel that they have to be everywhere when it comes to their marketing. They feel they need to be on every single social media platform, at every single conference and trade show and be part of every single association.
I am here to tell you this just is not so.
You need to be where your customers are!
When is the last time you critically looked and actually ASKED your customers how they want to be communicated with? What platforms they use? What conferences they attend and what associations they belong to?
Why haven’t you? Think of the time, effort and money you could save by understanding where your should be focusing your efforts and doing so!
By trying to be everywhere and trying to make everyone your client, you are doing a dis-service to your brand, your company and your true clientele. Be where they need you and respond to them in ways that make them feel needed and appreciated.
Here is a great piece by @TedRubin and @DavidBrier. I suggest you follow both of them.
If we can help you focus your efforts, rejig your communication and create content that is relevant and valuable to your clients, we would love to hear from you.
