As we wind down 2011 and look at all the headlines over the past year, I think we can understand where effective use of communication techniques, brand development and marketing tactics will help us all gain market share in 2012.
Whether it was the lack of real time communication of RIM during their outage, or the wranglings in Congress over the Budget Crisis, we learned that by not communicating often and honestly a brand’s reputation can be tainted. Only through understanding:

* how to implement that strategy through online and offline tactics
* how to respond to the negative Public Relations in a timely and effective manner
can a company truly prosper in today’s world.
